The Australian Fencing teams and squads – all weapons, mens and womens and all age groups, attended a 4-day High Performance training camp at the AIS just before Christmas. the camp gives fencers around Australia the opportunity to training together over several days, and for coaches from each state to co ordinate and share training methods and ideas. The National Foil, Epee and Sabre coaches invite selected fencers from the States to attend, and 6 ACT fencers participated – gaining valuable experience and skills in the process.
