The ACTFA committee has decided that we should be encouraging people to volunteer to help out at ACTFA events. In line with this, starting this weekend, The ACT Fencing Association will be rewarding volunteers with vouchers worth up to $5.00 for assistance with the running of events.
Examples of what you get a voucher for would be the setup or packup of an event would recieve 1 voucher, presiding a complete event, (say novice foil) would get 2 vouchers.
You will be able to redeem these vouchers for anything that you would be paying ACTFA money for. ie. Competitions, affiliations, camps, courses, etc.
So come along to the events ready to help out and you might get rewarded.
