Level 1 Coaching Course
ACTFA will be running a Level 1 coaching course in November. This course is aimed at club based coaches who are interested in obtaining a formal coaching qualification. It will equip participants with the ability to run small group lessons as well as give one on one coaching.
The course will be a combination of theory and practical sessions – it will be based on foil but if there is enough interest sabre and epee components can follow.
In order to qualify as a Level 1 coach participants must successfully complete the course and then complete 36 hours of coaching practice some of which must be under the supervision of an existing Level 1 or above coach. Advice on this aspect will be provided on the day.
