Volunteers Needed – ACT fencing community
ACT fencing is hosting The Intermediate School Championships (yr 7,8,9) at the Tuggeranong archery centre June 17, 18 & 19 Friday (setup), Saturday and Sunday. This is a big event for the ACT and need volunteers for setup, event running and pack up. The list of jobs is below, if you can volunteer that would be great. Either email me at treasurer@actfa.org.au or turn up on the day.
We would like to see at least 3 volunteers from each club in the ACT.
Friday 6pm -10pm Equipment control and setup
Saturday 8am and 10am equipment control
Saturday AM and PM DT runner and general volunteers
Sunday 8am and 10am equipment control
Sunday AM and PM DT runner and general volunteers
Sunday 4pm pack up.
Junior fencers are welcome to help, you will be taught how to do equipment control and other jobs. Great opportunity to see how a tournament is run.
