Now that the comps in the ACT Ranking system for 2011 are over and some of the clubs are winding up for the year, ACTFA will be hosting 2 ‘end of year’ celebrations this coming weekend, to mark another successful and enjoyable year of Fencing in the ACT.
The presentation dinner will be held on Saturday at hte Southern Cross Club in Woden. Trophies will be awarded for Mens and Womens Open Foil, Epee champions and runners-up – based on the results of the 2011 ACTFA competition Rankings – will be presented.
The follwoing day, at Eddison Park in Woden (between the Hospital and Sworpdlay Fencing club), ACTFA will host the Picnic day. Trophies will be awarded to the Novice, U20, U17, U15, U13 and U11 Foil categories and U20 Epee category.
All fencers are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring their families and friends.
