The local ACT fencing calendar drew to a close for the year on the weekend when ACTFA hosted the first ‘Junior Day’ at Mackillop College Wanniassa on Sunday. Young fencers aged between 8 and 16 from 4 local clubs took part in games and fencing-excercises in the morning and competed after lunch. A big Thank You! to the coaches that offered their time to make the day an enjoyable finale to the 2009.
