The 2020 ACT Veteran Championships will be held at Masters Fencing Club at the Tuggeranong Archery Centre over three Friday nights in October Please read the attached info flier for dates and times, dress requirements, venue location and how to register.
Maison Open for Training
- Details
Maison Fencing Club is Open for training.
Maison Fencing club has been given permission to recommence training, ensuring that the club comply with the ACT Government COVID19 guidelines.
Training will recommence from: Wednesday, 24 June 2020
Training times: 7.00pm – 8.30pm
Training Venue: Kaleen Primary School gymnasium, 19 Ashburton Circuit, Kaleen ACT 2617

Maison Fencing Club will be required to limit the number of participants to 15 in the gymnasium at any time, and actively monitor distancing rules and hygiene measures. Fencers will need to have their own fencing clothing and equipment. No sharing or use of club clothing or weapons.

Visitor from other fencing clubs are most welcome.

2020 Canberra Day Tournament (ACTFA State Open and Novice Championships)

The 2020 ACTFA State Open and Novice Epee, Foil and Sabre Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday March 7 and 8 at the Tuggeranong Archery Centre (299 Soward Way, Greenway ACT). Please read the attached info flier for dates and times, dress requirements, venue location and how to register. Please also note the early bird payment option. ACTFA fencers are eligible for one free Championship entry per year. All fencers must be registered with their State Association.

Learn to fence at Maison Escrime Fencing Club

The modern sport of Fencing offers something a little different. It is a sport that will challenge you in many ways, why not try something new for 2020. It is suitable for people of all ages, and is totally safe and fun.
Come along and give it a go.
Our 2020 Beginner course is starting on Wednesday, 26 February

ACTFA 2020 AGM and 2019 Presenations

The ACTFA AGM will be held on Saturday 8th February 2019 at the Tuggeranong Community Centre
245 Cowlishaw Street Greenway at 1pm.
Attached is the meeting agenda and reports for the meeting.
The AGM will be followed at 2:00 pm by the presentation of awards for 2019.
