The SwordPlay Annual tournament was held over the weekend 14 & 15 May.\u00a0 <\/span>There was a a good turn out, and as Ceser said \u2018\u2026ACT fencing is like one big family..\u2019, and there was a good gathering of the family on the weekend.\u00a0 <\/span>Congratulations to all the fencers and those that organised the day \u2013 John, Robyn, Isa, Garry, Terry, Gordon, and Hans, each day ran smoothly.

Men Foil (24 competed) \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

First place: Justin<\/strong> Bewsher<\/strong> (ANU)<\/span><\/p>\n

Second place: Iain<\/strong> Bain<\/strong> (ANU)<\/span><\/p>\n

Equal Third place: Chris<\/strong> Gabriel<\/strong> (SwordPlay) and Oliver<\/strong> Webster<\/strong> (SwordPlay)

Women Foil (8 competed) \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

First place: Natasha<\/strong> Russell<\/strong> (ANU)<\/span><\/p>\n

Second place: Noemie<\/strong> Sheppard<\/strong> (SwordPlay)<\/span><\/p>\n

Equal Third place: Dianne<\/strong> Deveraux<\/strong> (ACT) and Claudia<\/strong> Sykes<\/strong> (CDDC)
<\/span><\/p>\n

Of the nine (9) Foil Teams that competed, the Justine team won, they were: Iain<\/strong> Bain, Justin Bewsher<\/strong>, and Natasha<\/strong> Russell<\/strong>.
